Additional work included relocating an existing modular dock, an existing salt storage bin, and moving the existing utilities to the facility away from the addition’s footprint. The structure was erected as a pre-fabricated engineered building which will be furnished by the owner. The scope of work includes sitework, concrete, drywall, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection. FedEx Ground is a 24-hour company, and throughout construction the existing facility remained operational. To facilitate this project, construction was phased to minimize the impact on the facility.
