John B. Pike & Son builds Ashbury First United Methodist Church on 1050 East Avenue in Rochester, New York. The landmark church, designed in the American Gothic style with an Art Deco influence built with rock-faced Indiana limestone, is a prime example of the Pike masonry craftsmen of the time.
